Who doesn't love a good beauty sample? Small samples make it possible to test and try different products without splurging on a full sized version. It is the easiest way to determine whether a product is (or is not) right for you. Thankfully, a handful of Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin samples are in my possession. I already enjoy a lot of products from the brand, but these samples make it possible to find out whether there are others from Kylie Cosmetics or Kylie Skin that might be appropriate to add to the rotation. It is time for even more Lauren Conrad Beauty reviews here on Mansa Fashion. This time, the focus is on The Eyeshadow Palette named The Sunrise Palette. The last post was all about cheek and lip products, but since eyeshadows are my weakness, it was impossible to overlook the eyeshadow palette that was available for a steep discount. To be honest, my expectations were low, because I know that Lauren loves a neutral eye look, but this small but mighty eyeshadow palette has become one of my all-time favourite neutral palettes. The looks that it can create consistently make me feel more confident. Ready to take a look inside? Here is everything you need to know about this Lauren Conrad Beauty product.
There is nothing more millennial than shows like Laguna Beach and The Hills. Those television shows were absolute must watches at the time - and always make for a good rewatch. I have been a fan of Lauren Conrad since those shows aired. I have long loved her classic style. Since her time on reality television, Lauren has released multiple books and still has a fashion/accessory line at Kohls. A couple of years back, she also launched Lauren Conrad Beauty. However, at some point, it seems that the brand was discontinued without an official explanation. That is how some of the products from the line made their way into my life. Though I had paid attention to the initial launch, purchasing makeup online is not my favourite, especially since there are normally high shipping costs to Canada. But when I found some products from Lauren Conrad Beauty at a discount store...it was a no brainer. Ready to take a closer look at these products? Here is part one of the review.
What is evil? The new American-Italian independent film, "In The Fire," boldly poses that question to its audience. On the surface, the movie is about Martin Marquez, a young boy who appears to have inexplicable abilities. He has been blamed for every wrong thing that has happened in the area since his birth, from locusts to plagues to weather to deaths and even issues with crops. Though the people in town seem certain that Martin is possessed by the devil, an American Doctor, Grace Burnham, believes that Martin has a medical condition that can be understood and managed. It is here that the theme of science versus religion is introduced in the film. Grace sees Martin as a human being. Someone to be treated with respect and understanding. Someone to believe in. The townspeople see Martin as a source of evil and someone to be exterminated.
There has been a lot of Ariana Grande in my life lately. Earlier this week, there was a post here on Mansa Fashion. dedicated to her Mod Blush and Mod Vanilla perfumes. Now? It is time for a 2 looks 1 palette post for the r.e.m. beauty Gogo Boots Eyeshadow Palette. This palette was reviewed here recently, but since there were so many thrilling colours to choose from, I wanted to make sure each and every one was showcased in some way. The review post focused on that gorgeous taupe shadow. Now? It is time to let the other eyeshadows shine. Here are two looks created using this r.e.m. beauty palette.
There are an awful lot of perfumes lining my shelves. Some have been there for years and others are much newer. An example of the latter? The Mod Blush and Mod Vanilla perfumes from Ariana Grande. Over the years, there have been many Ariana Grande fragrance reviews here on Mansa Fashion. It only makes sense...the bottles are bold, interesting, and totally unique. As for the scents, those tend to be sweet and warm. Out of all her fragrances, my most worn are R.E.M., Thank U Next, and Cloud. But who knows? That might change now that Mod Blush and Mod Vanilla are on the scene. Curious about these celebrity perfumes? Here is everything you need to know about Mod Blush and Mod Vanilla from Ariana Grande.
During the pandemic, there was a lot of TV in my life. To be honest, television has always been a comfort of mine, and I regularly watch more of it than I should. (Even as I write this post, there is a show playing in the background. For the record: I am currently rewatching Dexter. Spooky season is on the horizon, so it seemed like a fitting choice.) During the pandemic? TV was my best, best, best friend. I watched all sorts of shows...including Vanderpump Rules. I started by watching season eight and then went back and watched the show all the way from the beginning. Since then, I have rewatched the show a few times. And of course, I was on the edge of my seat when the Scandoval happened. Most of the cast members have a place in my heart for one reason or another, but my favourite person is Ariana Madix. I love how much she has grown over the years. I also love the fact that she has been so vulnerable about sharing her struggles with body image and mental health. Since Ariana is currently in a season of transformation and fresh starts (she will be on the new season of Dancing with the Stars and has a book coming out, Single AF Cocktails)...it only made sense to feature her in the latest installment of love it or leave it?
The hardest part of taking a vacation? Getting caught up on life afterward. I am doing my best, but it is certainly a bit of an adjustment. Fingers crossed I will be able to ease back into things in the next day or so. Until then...I wanted to talk a little bit about some makeup that I have been using recently. It was back in May that my mom and I took a short day trip over the border to do a little shopping. During that time, we were able to stop in at Ulta Beauty. It was there that I was able to take a peek at some r.e.m. beauty products. I'd heard quite a bit about the brand, since I am a fan of Ariana Grande, but since the products were not available to purchase in Canada, it wasn't a brand that I anticipated being able to use. Since there was a small display at the Ulta Beauty store we visited, it made sense to choose something special. I am an eyeshadow lover, so of course, it had to be an eyeshadow palette. There were a couple of options, but Gogo Boots ultimately won out. The colours just called to me. Ready to find out how it performed? Here is everything you need to know about this colourful release.
